April 2020 Housing Market Update

There were 366 active listings and over $28.85 million in sales volume in Sarnia-Lambton.  We had 85 sold listings and the average sale price was $351,900. Homes stayed on the market for 28 days on average before selling. The average sale price was 7.3% higher in April 2020 than in April 2019.

There were 15 homes sold in the 199K and under price range, 49 homes sold in the 200-399K price range, 13 homes sold in the 400-599K price range, and 7 homes sold in the 600K and above price range. 57.6% of sales took place in the $200,000-$400,000 price range.
